1983 RM250 Stearing Stem on a 1982

I originally thought I was going to have to press the ‘82 stem onto the ‘83 to use it for the 43mm CR forks, but it looks like it will bolt right up! This was just a dry run so this is not official.

The 38mm single-leading shoe stock forks were just not going to work here.  I want to keep the stock look so i’m not gonna go with a model that has disc brakes, so I found a pair of ‘83 CR250 forks for cheap.  They are 40mm with double-leading shoe brakes. I had www.onthepiperacing.com rebuild them.   I’ll be parting out stock stuff from my RM periodically, but let me know if there’s something you need.

Found a Gas Tank

Found this sweet gas tank on Ebay, much better condition than mine $36.  Mine was painted over, would’ve been a nightmare.
